Call Of The Mountains

Finally a month after returning from the life changing trip/trek of my life I am starting on penning down the experience and about the wonderful trek.

Actually I had started writing the day after we touched the sea level i.e Delhi but then was caught into the routine that I just couldn’t make myself to start the ever pending blog… Uff… Such excuses I give myself. But here it goes.

The quest to find myself

Again, a huge gap of absence in this space. So many things I wanted to write, wanted to express but just didn't. I kept giving excuses to myself and others saying ‘I am not finding time’ and what not. The truth: I was just lazy. But I have started writing about Chanderkhani Pass and other trips that I went on. Hope I finish that soon.

Saw a movie yesterday ‘Julie and Julia’. It’s a kind of biopic of Julia Child. But who is she and why am I suddenly thinking about her?

A Memorable Wedding !!!

Weddings are always fun, but there are certain things that make them very special and close to your heart.

 

 Pavitra, my sister-in-law got married last week and those three days during her wedding were maddening, crazy and what not. It was fun to be totally disconnected with the outside world even while being in the heart of Chennai. No phones, no msgs, no work related stuff, just a bunch of cousins and relatives to while away the time with.

Have been thinking to start blogging from a long time. Its been years since I had created this blog (around August 2010) but never posted anything. Husband was always behind me asking me to start blogging and I kept telling him "Ya Ya I Will" but it never went ahead of that and he finally gave up. My laziness was the first and the biggest culprit and slowly as time passed by my confidence on writing was fading away.

But well, 4 years later, here I am with all josh to start blogging and taking this blog seriously. Had loads of ideas on what to post on, the topic, the theme etc etc. So I have come to a conclusion that I would blog about anything and everything that I like, love and want to share. Be it travel, food, vacation, make up and what not.

And as I love shooting and editing, you might find a lot of videos too (lots of ideas lined up). Lets see if I can hold on to this and make my life more interesting.
